This is the version that goes to an authority, a customs broker, or a client whose procurement rules require an identifiable issuer.
What goes into every sheet
- Identity that survives a cross-check. CAS verified by its check digit, EC number, index number, and the harmonised entry where one exists. Mismatched identifiers are the defect nobody notices until an inspector does.
- Classification bound to the register. Where CLP Annex VI carries a harmonised entry, that entry is binding and we follow it — not the consensus of whichever database answered first.
- Transport worked out per mode. Section 14 differs for road, sea and air. We fill it for the mode you name rather than printing all three and letting you choose.
- Named gaps instead of invented values. Where no published source gives a property, the sheet says the property is not established. A plausible number with no source behind it is worse than an honest blank.
- Revision anchored to an ATP. The sheet records which amendment it was written against, so you can tell at a glance when it has been overtaken.
Where our data comes from
The classification layer is the binding one: CLP Annex VI, as amended, is the register a European inspector will open. Physical and toxicological properties come from public scientific sources, each cited at the value rather than in a bibliography at the end — so a reader can check one number without reading the whole document.
Where sources disagree, we say they disagree. A safety data sheet that hides a conflict between two published values is not simpler; it is less useful, because the disagreement is exactly what a reviewer needs to see.

The free audit tells you whether your current document would survive an inspection — section by section, with the wording that is wrong quoted back to you. If it passes, we say it passes and you have spent nothing.
Catalogues and repeat orders
If you need coverage for a whole product range, send the list of CAS numbers rather than one enquiry per substance. We reply with a per-card price, a schedule, and an honest note about which entries in your list have thin public data — that last part is usually the useful one, because it tells you where your compliance risk actually sits.
We do not sell chemicals and have no stock. Nothing on this site competes with your suppliers; we produce the documentation that travels with what they sell you.
