This policy describes what MolGod.org collects, why, and what we do not collect. It is written against how the site actually works, not from a template.

1. The short version
- Our analytics are self-hosted and set no cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or any comparable third-party tracker.
- Seven first-party cookies named
sbjs_*are set when you open a page. They belong to WooCommerce Order Attribution and record how you reached the site, so that an order shows where it came from. They are not shared with anyone and no advertising network can read them. Every one of them is listed, with what it does, in our Cookie Policy. - We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We ask for personal data only when you order a document, request an audit or contact us.
- Where you give us company details for a safety data sheet, they appear on the document you receive — that is their purpose.
2. What we collect and why
2.1 When you browse
Our analytics run on our own server and are configured with cookies disabled. They record the page visited, the referring page, approximate region derived from the connection, and the type of browser. No cookie is set and no identifier follows you between sessions or between sites. We use this to see which documentation people look for — nothing else.
The site is served through Cloudflare, which acts as our processor and handles the connection, caching and protection against attack. Cloudflare processes your IP address for that purpose. We do not receive it as an identifiable record.
2.2 When you order a document
To deliver a document we need your e-mail address and the details of the order. For an Expert-Reviewed SDS we additionally ask for the information listed in section 4 of our Terms: your company identity as it is to appear in section 1.3 of the sheet, the product grade and specification, identified uses, destination countries and languages, transport mode, and an emergency telephone number.
These details are the content of the document you buy. They are printed on the sheet, because a safety data sheet without an identifiable supplier is not a safety data sheet. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
2.3 When you request a free audit or write to us
We keep your message, your e-mail address and any document you send us, for as long as needed to answer and to keep a record of what was advised. If you send us an existing safety data sheet, we read it and report on it; we do not add it to any database or reuse it for another customer.
2.4 Accounts
Ordering may create an account so that you can find your documents later. We do not require you to choose a password or complete a registration form to buy a document.
3. Payments
We do not see or store card numbers. Where payment is made in cryptocurrency, the transaction is non-custodial — funds go directly to our wallet address and no intermediary holds them. Confirmation that a payment arrived is provided by a verification service that sees the blockchain transaction and the order reference, not your identity.
A blockchain is public and permanent by design. A transaction sent to us is visible to anyone; that is a property of the network, not a choice we make about your data.
4. What we do not do
- No advertising trackers. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no Clarity, no remarketing tags. Verifiable in the page source. The only cookies this site sets are first-party and are listed in full in the Cookie Policy.
- No sale or sharing of personal data with advertisers, brokers or third parties for their own purposes.
- No profiling and no automated decisions producing legal effects for you.
- No newsletter without your request. We do not add buyers to a mailing list automatically.
5. Who else processes your data
- Our hosting provider — stores the site and its database.
- Cloudflare — delivers the site and protects it; processes connection data.
- Our e-mail provider — delivers order confirmations and documents.
- The crypto payment verification service — confirms that a blockchain payment matching your order arrived.
Each acts on our instructions. None of them receives your data for its own marketing.
6. How long we keep it
- Order records and issued documents — for as long as we may need to reissue a document or answer a question about it, and for as long as accounting law requires.
- Correspondence and audit requests — while the matter is open, then for a reasonable period as a record of what was advised.
- Documents you send for a free audit — deleted once the report has been sent, unless you ask us to keep them.
- Analytics — aggregate figures only; there is no personal record to delete because none is created.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR and, where it applies to you, EU GDPR, you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to pure@molgod.org. We answer within one month.
One honest limitation. Where your company details form part of a safety data sheet already issued and passed down a supply chain, we can remove them from our records, but we cannot recall copies already held by your customers or by an authority. A document that has left our hands has left it.
If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom, or to the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
8. Cookies
Our analytics set none. WooCommerce sets a small number of strictly necessary cookies once you place something in a basket — they remember the basket contents and the session. Without them a shop cannot function, and they carry no advertising identifier.
9. International transfers
Our servers are in the European Union. Cloudflare operates a global network and may process connection data outside the UK and EU under the safeguards published in its own terms. We do not transfer your order data outside the UK or EU for any other purpose.
10. Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. We do not apply changes retroactively to data already collected under an earlier version.
