We sell documents, and a document cannot be returned once it has been read. This policy explains when you get your money back anyway — including the case where the evidence simply does not support a defensible sheet.

1. Our products are digital and prepared to order
Every document we deliver is generated or prepared for the specific substance, company and use you name. Once a document has been delivered, it cannot be un-supplied. For that reason there is no general right of return after delivery — but there are five situations below in which we refund anyway.
2. No fabricated-data refund
If the available evidence is insufficient to support a defensible document for your CAS number and product specification, we will not invent the missing values. We will tell you what is missing and you choose one of three outcomes:
- a full refund of what you paid for that item;
- store credit of the same amount, valid for twelve months;
- a documented gap report — a written statement of what could and could not be established, with the sources consulted. Some customers want this for their own file; if you choose it, we keep the fee.
This is a guarantee about our process, not about the outcome of an inspection. It means we would rather return your money than hand you a number we cannot stand behind.
3. Cancellation before work begins
SDS Working Draft (€49.99). Generation starts automatically at checkout, so cancellation is only possible in the minutes before the file is sent. If you cancel before delivery, you receive a full refund.
Expert-Reviewed SDS (€249.99). You may cancel for a full refund at any time before review begins — in practice, before we acknowledge that your input is complete. After review has begun we refund the difference between the two products (€200), because the working draft has already been produced and is yours to keep.
Catalogue Pilot (€299) and catalogue build (€2,999). Cancellation before work starts: full refund. After work starts: we refund the part of the fee corresponding to work not yet done, on a stated proportion of the agreed scope.
4. If we got it wrong
If a document contains an error that originates with us — a misread of a harmonised entry, a section that does not follow Annex II, a transport classification inconsistent with the source we cited — we correct it at no charge and the correction does not consume one of your five included rounds.
If the correction cannot be made, or you no longer want the document, you receive a full refund for that item. Tell us within 30 days of delivery.
5. If the information came from you
Where a document is wrong because the data you supplied was incorrect, incomplete or false, that is not a defect in our work and is not refundable. It is, however, exactly what the five included rounds of corrections are for: send us the corrected information and we will reissue the document.
We say this plainly because it is the most common case. We check what can be checked against public sources, but we cannot know what is in your container. See section 4 of our Terms.
6. If we are late
The 72-hour period for an Expert-Reviewed SDS runs from the moment we have complete input from you, and pauses whenever we are waiting on an answer. If we miss that period through our own delay, you may choose a full refund or a 50% reduction and keep the document.
7. Annual maintenance
Maintenance (€1,499 per year) may be cancelled at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal. We do not refund the current year part-way through, because the refresh work is done across the year rather than at a single point. Documents already delivered remain yours.
8. How to request a refund
Write to pure@molgod.org with your order reference and what went wrong. We reply within two working days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within fourteen days.
Payments made in cryptocurrency are refunded in the same cryptocurrency, to an address you nominate, at the amount of coin originally received. We do not carry exchange-rate risk in either direction: if the rate has moved since your payment, the coin amount is what returns to you, not its value on the day.
9. If you are a consumer
Our products are intended for businesses placing substances or mixtures on the market. If you are nevertheless a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by this policy. Note that the right to cancel a contract for digital content is lost once supply has begun with your consent, which is what happens when you order a document.
