The engine behind every document on this site

MolGod issues documentation as a service. Underneath it runs a platform, and you can license it to run your own catalogue instead of ordering documents one at a time.

What it is

A WordPress and WooCommerce layer that turns a chemical catalogue into a documented one. Classification lives in a single place; the product page, the safety data sheet and the printed label are all generated from it. None of them is typed twice, so none of them can drift out of step with the others.

The site you are reading runs on it. So does the demonstration catalogue. There is no showroom build.

What it does

Classification gated on the harmonised entry. Where an entry exists at Union level, it governs and its index number is stated. Self-classification is displayed separately and labelled.

Provenance on every field. Values carry the source they came from and the date it was read. A field with no recorded source is marked as having none.

Deterministic regulatory phrasing. The EU publishes every hazard and precautionary statement in all twenty-four official languages, so another language version is a lookup rather than a translation project.

Absence stated as absence. When a substance is missing from a dataset, the output says the status is not established. It never says no restrictions apply, and that rule is enforced in the code that assembles the document rather than in an editorial guideline.

Who licenses it

Distributors running their own catalogue who want documentation generated rather than commissioned · agencies building shops for chemical clients who need a compliance layer to exist without hiring for it · manufacturers whose SKU count has made per-document pricing stop making sense.

Licence pricing is not published yet. The figures exist, but the currency in which they are quoted has not been settled, and a price we would have to restate is worse than a price we have not given. Ask us for the current figures and you get them in writing.

What a licence does not include

The licence gives you the engine, not a competent person. Where a document requires judgement rather than transcription — first aid, firefighting, accidental release, handling and storage, and the specifics of protective equipment — that judgement stays with a qualified person, yours or ours under separate scope.

It also does not make you compliant. Compliance is a legal state that depends on registration, tonnage and your role in the supply chain. Be suspicious of anyone selling it as a software feature — including us, if we ever start.
